What happening on Social Media right now for DHL Malaysia!...Latest Community Discussions About DHL Malaysiamy third time using Doorzo3d agoDoorzo [u/Doorzo](https://www.instagram.com/Doorzo/) is a nice platform for overseas shopping, and the app is simple and easy to use. You can even negotiate prices with sellers. However, because I mainly bought clothing and I live in the United States, the international shipping process was not very smooth this time. DHL asked me to submit invoices and other documents, and even though I contacted them actively and responded quickly every time, I still ended up paying extra storage fees and customs duties. I really hope the United States will restore more shipping options and remove tariffs someday. Doorzo’s packaging is always very compact and neat, which helps save a lot of shipping costs... So unbelievably done with thrift books.12d agotldr - had numerous problems with thrift books to the point they were already on thin ice, took the risk to order through a different platform (abe books) rather than directly through them hoping it would turn out better. Was not only sent the wrong book but a book that was absolutely destroyed. According to thrift books they can't send the correct order, I would need to place a "new order" on abe books in order to receive it. However, the copy I ordered was the last available one. Warning - long post which covers my past experiences with thrift books and why I'm done with them, I apologize in advance because I'm a yapper but tried to condense it and it's stil... Need help with my final year project survey (Courier Services in Malaysia) – only 3–5 mins!13d agoHi everyone! I am a university student currently doing my final year project on **Factors Influencing Customer Satisfaction with Courier Services in Malaysia**. I really need respondents and the survey only takes around **3–5 minutes**. If you have used any courier service in Malaysia (Poslaju, J&T, DHL, Shopee Xpress, etc.), you’re eligible! Here’s the link to the survey: [https://forms.gle/xtuBGhAjXGs2Jm3E6](https://forms.gle/xtuBGhAjXGs2Jm3E6) Your help would mean a lot to me! 🙏 If you are also doing research and need respondents, feel free to drop your link too and I’ll return the favour! Thanks in advance! 😊 Shipment is on hold? Should I worry?15d agoNo further details or emails were given to describe what the hold actually is? Not sure if it’s because I changed the signature release or what, but I am worried. Shipping Dogs to the Philippines Guide18d agoHopefully this will help save you some time and reduce your dog’s kennel time. This is complicated but pet shipping companies don’t do much and charge at least 3x. You’re still doing the leg work. Things like me going to Pier 8 could have been avoided but 2go thought I needed to despite me already having the permit they give. Most of the people on your path wont know what you need. Bear with me on formatting, hopefully I can edit to fix if it's weird. 1. **Kennels**: Follow IATA rules, PAL said their last client was rejected and had to have a custom crate made. My Largest dog was 3” too long but the petmate crates are way wider than IATA. IATA’s solid requirement is that the ... Express package stuck for over a month in customs32d agoHi all! I’m super frustrated and need advice. Package shipped from Malaysia to the USA - I paid $50 in express shipping for my package to arrive by October 10th, and it’s been stuck in customs for almost a month. I’ve tried every which way to contact someone to get help or clues as to what’s happening. Does anyone know why this might be happening? The package contains my prescription contacts and they do expire, so I’m highly concerned. Critical Warning for Reverb Sellers: How I Lost €1,60033d agoI set the main point at the beggining and you can decide to read the rest. 1. Sellers - do not send stuff by FEDEX. They are handing over packages while duties and taxes are not paid, and when the customer decide not to pay - they will charge you!!! 2. Buyers - if you buy something outside of US - delivering to US by FEDEX - you can avoid paying any fees, just ignore it for long time enough for it to be switched back to seller - you already have the product 3. at the end i am stating "extra" duties for all countries i found at the moment so you could have more reliable info about how much you are going to pay - the rates are for "product to be made" not a &... [Advice needed] Should I trust to dealer from Malaysia on international shipping?36d agoDear collectors, really really need your advice , especially if someone has got an experience. Should I trust the dealers from Kuala Lumpur and Alor- Setar about international shipping and transfer them the money? So the story is: I found a couple of pieces online in a different cities of Malaysia. All of the stores are active in social media for over 2-3 years. I had a chat with all of them, we agreed the price, I have to transfer the money and watches will be sent the same day. That all sounds some kind of perfect deal, but I still doubt if I will really receive exactly what I order. From their side only words about “good feedbacks”, long time on a market etc. All of them promise f... 2 Months with Greenroom 136 QuickDraw36d agoI have had the TomToc T24 for a while. I really like that sling but it’s oriented like a backpack and I feel like I lose space in the big pocket. Saw some reviews on this on YT and took a chance. Even though it’s not a sling I really like this. It has tons of rooms. Fair amount of inside pockets. Highly recommend using the keychain to secure your air pods. They’ll never fall out again. In the second zip I have my iPad Mini but my iPad Pro 2 11 fits in there also. I really like this. Lots of room for things and a nice strap. The padding can be removed. They’re made in Malaysia so it’s subjects to tariffs. I think it’s 25%. That’s my one complaint about this. It’s has “tariff... Hey graduates! But it went to Germany for processing instead, I have emailed them and send for inquiries multiple times and was ignored. NEVER OPT FOR DHL E-commerce. I was unaware my EBay Buyer use DHL E-commerce. Buying Shimano Reels with tariffs from digitaka.com & japanlureshop.com49d agoI am interested in buying a Shimano Stradic or Vanford through Digitaka or Japan Lure Shop. How I see it, is since both of these reels are made in Malaysia there is a 19% tariff fee (which Digitaka is covering 50%, JLS is not covering any of this tariff cost). Also, there is this: "**Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 steel and aluminum tariffs**." "Then, effective June 4, 2025, the tariff rate on steel and aluminum imports (and derivative products) was raised to **50%** for most countries", per whitehouse.gov. I know I'd be on the hook for 8% of the tariff fee (Digitaka covering 50% of the tariff), but the Stradic is made of a lot of aluminum, ... [PSA] Be vigilant - shipping companies/couriers might be ripping you off.52d agoSo over the past few months since the US has announced, implemented, and altered tariffs/duties on imports, there's been some whiplash and a lot of confusion about "who gets charged what for stuff coming from where." By now, however, the dust has largely settled - to the dissatisfaction of many, for sure, but it's mostly settled. The information on duties/tariffs can now be reliably Googled or found on [pages such as this](https://www.tradecomplianceresourcehub.com/2025/10/15/trump-2-0-tariff-tracker/), and are now mostly organized in a usable manner (if you're willing to dig through the legalese) in the [US International Trade Commission's Harmonized Tariff S... Proxy shipping for items from Singapore (Malaysia also fine, though I seldom go get items there)54d agoLooking to someone who can help get stuff from Carousell SG and have access to shipping like Ninja Van (the last person who reached out said that shipping done is through there) and DHL... And also, hopefully with no extra charges (ideally). I use Paypal. PS - Can DM the Carousell SG links. PPS - Currently do get patches/seldom get headgear like caps (for now, could expand to shirts?). First time using Aramex to ship to the US, now I’m forced to ask my buyer for their SSN!!54d agoI just want to share my experience in case it helps someone else who ships internationally. I’ve shipped to the US many times before using PosLaju (Malaysia national post), UPS direct and Redly Express. Never once had a customs issue. This time was actually my first time using Aramex Express ,I thought using an express courier would make it faster. Big mistake. The parcel cleared Malaysia with no problem, but once it reached the US, UPS (who handles Aramex deliveries there) suddenly flagged it for clearance and asked for: ✅ A revised invoice ❌ And then — my buyer’s Tax ID (EIN/SSN) I sent Aramex the updated invoice. They said they forwarded it to UPS. Then they told ME, a... How rare is this boy? (Spotted in MEL)57d agoReview of fanofdota shipping from Malaysia to US60d agoThis was my first time using proxy services so I was very nervous about the entire process. I had the absolute BEST experience with u/fanofdota. Not only did he take time to answer all of my questions, but made sure I also did my own research as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking to buy some things from Malaysia and need a proxy. u/fanofdota was very detailed in expectations, took the time to make sure I was aware of international shipping laws, provided detailed receipts, invoices, pictures along the way as reassurance. My items were packaged with care, and my package arrived in pristine condition within 3 days after it was dropped off at DHL. I’m very happy and will be return... Can someone help me figure out my luggage situation? In Malaysia62d agoReposting this because the last one was removed for not having a destination in the subject. I am coming to the end of almost three months abroad and I overpacked. Realized that on my first stop but I wasn't gonna throw my stuff away, so lesson learned for next time. I have about 52 kg of stuff. (madness, I know!) It usually breaks down to about 31 kg, 13 kg, 8 kg among my three bags. My conundrum: I have a flight coming up where I get 2 bags that weigh 23 kg and one cabin bag that weighs 9 kg, however my carry on roller bag cannot physically fit 23 kg of stuff (I've only been able to do about 13 max). I've considered buying a (hopefully) cheap bag that's big enoug... WTS 1972 King Seiko Vanac 5626-716962d agoFor your consideration, sadly a catch and release. I have here for sale my 1972 King Seiko Vanac 5626-7160. I literally just picked this up today from DHL! Why am I selling it?? The bracelet is too **** tight on my 7” wrist!! 😢 I just need one bracelet link, but as you may know, the King Seiko Vanac series was only made between 1972-1974, so finding a link would be close to impossible. This is a beautiful watch with a lovely green dial and groovy faceted crystal. It also has the Hi-Beat (28,000 bph) 5626 automatic movement. I am selling this for the same price that I paid for it, $600. I am actually going to take a loss since I paid $170 in customs fees, since I bought it from Malaysia!...
