I am going to use DHL to ship my application because I absolutely do not trust FedEx with anything of value after they have lost packages of value multiple times or delivered them to completely incorrect parts of the city. Never had a problem with fed ex always got my packages but Welp today it finally happened to me the horror stories I see all over the internet package signed by a person name Mary no one lives in my household name Mary filed a missing package report. I send literally hundred of packages via Canada post every month because I sell games on eBay - they are far better and cheaper than the private alternatives. They've only lost three packages of mine in the last five years, and I only lost money on one of those because I left it in a post box and didn't keep the receipt. Meanwhile every time I use FedEx to send packages to the US they find some way to upcharge me and half the time I use UPS they loose my package and it's a pain in the *** to get even a response from their support team. easy block, i know, which I did this morning. Tracking shows delivered on january 7th and this dude has been messaging since last week but not consistently. I am assuming that he doesnt really check his ebay. He is claiming that he cannot find the package after 2 months! He just messaged me to contact fedex and file a claim since the sender is the only one who can do that. I, initially messaged him with the tracking and that it was delivered 2 months ago. My package has been stuck in Newark, NJ since 01/28 due to a customs delay and it's shipping tracker has not updated since. I ordered a few cans of nicotine pouches from Sweden pouch website. Is my package gone for good? I read somewhere it can't stay in customs for more than 45 days but at this point, it doesn't feel like it's moving any time soon.

It's sad that anytime I find an online retailer uses FedEx, I plan on an extra day for me to get my package. And no, I do not live in some remote hard to find location. I am 10 minutes from a decent sized center. I bought and received a package from Lithuania (via Etsy) that was dated in October 2025. FedEx sent an invoice 5 months later (March 2026), for an import fee of over $80. Anyone else have similar experience? What did you do? I called FedEx billing, explained, asked about the bill and what happens if it’s not paid. They said it’s because of tariff regulations during that time period. They said after 60 days, the charge would go to the shipper and it would be their responsibility, at no consequence to me. Hoping this is true.

I have lived in downtown Toronto for 10 years. Almost every time, or maybe *actually* every time FedEx has a package for someone in my unit (3 people live here who order online frequently), FedEx claims it could not be delivered. They never try to contact us directly, they don't buzz our unit, our phones would have a missed call if they did. They just leave a slip for the package at the mailbox or in the vestibule. Edit: yes, the main door is locked. That's what the buzzer is for. My name is in the directory. All of our names are, there is no excuse not to buzz one of us to deliver. I promised that I would document my experience no matter the outcome on as many platforms as possible. I recently purchased a Basilisk v3 Pro 45K and it ended up having a completely defective scroll wheel after only a few months of use (<3 months). I won an international giveaway for a perfume and am now asked by Fedex to give them power of attorney and also pay customs, they are asking for exact price through a bank transfer receipt or something, but 1) I didn’t buy it, 2) some of the items in the package are random merch that isn’t even sold anywhere, I guess they send it in some PR packages (a pen, a rubik’s cube, a bathmat)… Any advice?

I didn’t get any update, and it shows the delivery will be tomorrow. However, according to the tracker, it’s in Memphis while the delivery location is in the Philippines. Is anyone else facing the same situation? Can anyone provide their input? Thank you.

The shipping rate gap between small and large sellers doesn't get talked about enough imo. I run an outdoor gear brand doing around 800 orders monthly during peak and when I compare my UPS/fedex rates to what larger competitors pay for identical service to identical destinations, the difference is 30 to 40% per package. Tried negotiating directly and the "discounts" they offered were basically nothing because their volume thresholds for meaningful rate breaks are designed for companies shipping tens of thousands of packages, not hundreds. First of all, I want to preface that it is completely my mistake lol. I pre-ordered the life size eeveelutions in June of last year and thought I canceled them all, but apparently I didn't cancel Leafeon and now just saw the 440 dollar charge hit and pending shipment. So I know you can't cancel the order once it processes. I tried to search but couldn't find anything. Am I completely out of luck? Can I refuse the package by FedEx or will that still make me the owner of the item if I refuse it? And if I start a Returns process, I'm responsible for the return shipping right? And that will probably cost the price of the Leafeon itself... lol. Those are the only 2 options ...
