Hello, I am writing to see how people have dealt with their accounts being restricted due to unpaid bills. I am currently in an extreme headache with FedEx. I was issued a bill in January from a package shipped in October of last year. I have no problem with paying, but they did not convert the currency correctly and handed me a bill for over 900 USD. I was to receive a package coming from France (im in the US) and it got stuck in customs. I got a message saying that fedex needed either the manufacturing ID number for each item in the box or the name/address of the manufacturer for each item. I called fedex and they told me to email this info to [email protected]. I sent an email to that address and typed in the body of the message the name/address for the manufacturer of each item. I also attached the invoice too just in case that was also needed. I have a package that has already been attempted 2 times, it’s a laptop and the signature is required but there’s literally no way I can be there until after 5. Recently moved out here so can’t really ask anyone either plus my apt building says they can’t sign packages. I’ve called fed ex and they keep saying they can’t do anything because the shipper set restrictions, support said that after 3 attempts I could pick it up but the woman I called today said it might get returned to the sender. I am coming here because Reddit is the most reliable place on the internet to find answers, and I am desperate. I got married in Mexico last month and my spouse shipped some items from our wedding back home to the states…and then they promptly lost the tracking number. It’s been a month and our package hasn’t arrived back home. I have called US Fed Ex, and Mexican Fed Ex, and customs. Everyone says they can not help without a tracking number. Does anyone know how I can possibly get the tracking number???? I even had a friend in Mexico go into the Fed Ex and try to get it, to no avail. Is anyone else actually kinda sad that this job has become what it is? I \*like\* the job. I really do. But the expectations… 185+ stop 300+ package count multi dozen group stop routes being a daily occurrence… metrics above everything… It’s not sustainable, and it’s upsetting. And then people tell you go to Fedex, USPS, whatever. I tried fedex once and was stuck in a step van for 10 hours with the most insufferable person possible who ***** his job with a passion. Everyone I know who works for or who used to work for USPS really only has negative things to say about how much of a **** show it is.

All I wanted was something neat off of eBay. It's been 12 days so far and it still hasn't left Independence. I tried calling, I tried claims, I tried asking the seller to to file a claim. It was just $30 but still, this is enough to get me to make sure sellers aren't using FedEx.

I'm in Eastern USA which is one of the further points from Japan so I love to see it. Had to cross the Pacific Ocean as well as basically all of the United States width-wise. Package was quite large as well. it landed in Alaska, then went straight to Tennessee, then here to Pennsylvania My last package took around a week and the one before that 3 weeks. FedEx seems to do it best

After a little sleuthing, I realized i might have received a dud and so decided to return the card back to them while I was within the return window.
