So, I've worked at FedEx before but left due to reasons. I gave them about a week notice and filled out a resignation form. That was 1 year ago. Due to life circumstances, I applied again in October of 2025 and received a conditional offer that I was very uncertain about and ended up declining. FedEx has been nuts on this package, I had two packages sent from the same place at the same time I’ve had one already delivered a couple days ago and this one has been stuck in Memphis since the 9th like whatttt. I never bothered getting a printer and it's fine 99% of the time (Amazon returns don't need a label), but returning stuff is always a pain. Curious how others handle it. Most people I know drop off at FedEx or UPS, but the hours are annoying and the lines can be brutal. I feel like I should technically be able to leave a labeled package in my lobby and have the carrier pick it up -- but I have two concerns: 1. Will it actually get stolen? 2. Got FedEx home delivery, Was Supposed to be delivered today, but the last update was yesterday at 11:30am and it still says it’s a whole state away (1:42pm now). That doesn’t really make any sense. I’m guessing I probably won’t see it today, especially since it’s a 70 lb tool chest and they probably don’t want to deal with it anyway. Has anyone had this happen before? I ordered something off of DHGate that was to be shipped from the continental US which was supposed to be 3-4 days... here comes the crazy part. Honestly I wasn't really tracking it that closely at the time and was just waiting for it to arrive.. I digress. I have had massive problems with USPS this year, 2 out of 10 packages are misrouted, adding 3-5 days transit time, and 99% of the ones that don't get misrouted end up coming 2-4 days late, just because they let them sit for days at the hubs. In the past, USPS was great, in terms of on time and no BS, second only to UPS (ground and Express both), now I'd put my experience from the last 2-3 years at or below the quality of FedEx Ground!
