The shipping rate gap between small and large sellers doesn't get talked about enough imo. I run an outdoor gear brand doing around 800 orders monthly during peak and when I compare my UPS/fedex rates to what larger competitors pay for identical service to identical destinations, the difference is 30 to 40% per package. Tried negotiating directly and the "discounts" they offered were basically nothing because their volume thresholds for meaningful rate breaks are designed for companies shipping tens of thousands of packages, not hundreds. This creates a real pricing problem because I either absorb the cost difference and accept razor thin margins or I pass it to customers at ...

First of all, I want to preface that it is completely my mistake lol. I pre-ordered the life size eeveelutions in June of last year and thought I canceled them all, but apparently I didn't cancel Leafeon and now just saw the 440 dollar charge hit and pending shipment. So I know you can't cancel the order once it processes. I tried to search but couldn't find anything. Am I completely out of luck? Can I refuse the package by FedEx or will that still make me the owner of the item if I refuse it? And if I start a Returns process, I'm responsible for the return shipping right? And that will probably cost the price of the Leafeon itself... lol. Those are the only 2 options ...

FedEx delivered my new Framework 16 today. I was very excited of delivery and video recorded my unboxing and look-over of the laptop just in case there is an issue there future. I had a DIY order. I pre-ordered a watch last month, & I'm unsure whether it's still in customs or it's been cleared. If still in customs, is there anything I need to do on my behalf? I've read that sometimes you'll receive a letter stating that you pay for fees, taxes, tariffs, etc. Before they continue the shipping process. All apologies, if this is a "****" question; I've never had a package stuck in customs/clearance with DHL. In the past I've had FedEx bill me for tariffs a few weeks after packages had arrived. So i ordered my package to be sent to my place which is 2 and a half hours from this location it was sent from from California to now Memphis Tennessee and it has been there for almost 2 days now and I had express shipping on this and it was supposed to be here by now. Over the course of the past two years - but especially in the past two months - every shipping option available to me has gotten significantly worse. I use all the major carriers: Fedex, UPS, and USPS. FedEx: Consistently the slowest and toughest on packages. Their budget options are by far the slowest I've seen. They have not lost or misdelivered any of my packages recently but used to do so consistently. At least my local FedEx facility never has a line. UPS: They cut staff to the bone under the new CEO, so they have zero slack capacity. I bought some coins online from this guy who was recommended by a couple of people who said he was reliable. But he says he doesn't ship with typical shipping companies like FedEx or UPS because they lose too many packages. So he sent me a link to this company (Blueline Transport Solutions) with a tracking number. I didn't think anything of it until a couple of days passed and I asked the chat box/customer service for an update on my delivery. They said my delivery is pending because I have to purchase insurance before they deliver it. That conversation is shown in the pictures. What are your thoughts about this?
