I have materials needed for a project that’s time sensitive coming in via fedex. I’ve had no updates since, and I’m a bit worried about it. Should I wait, or should I try to get to the bottom of this?

Overnight shipped a package last week from New England to South Carolina for it to get stuck in memphis on 1/28. My package has been there since with no scans although the FedEx phone rep claims another scan happened sunday (no evidence of this in the tracking). While i know Memphis got hit hard does anyone have any insight on the conditions there and when FedEx might ramp up again? Im assuming things are backed and and possibly not back to 100% yet but Im still hoping my package will move soon. Anyone else still having issues and anyone who may work there have any insight on current conditions for the rest of us?

My laptop died and this is my replacement. I have sensory issues and public libraries etc wont cut it at all, and borrowing from someone may or may not work because heck I dont even have that many friends who would give me a laptop. Ik a big snowstorm just came and all so im not mad abt that. But by now I thought FedEx would already start delivering again. I haven’t got an update since the 31st and it was originally set to be delivered last Friday. A couple of hours ago, tracking said my package was in Cedar Rapids, IA, scanned at 8pm on 2/2. Now, that scan has disappeared and it says my package is back in Kentucky. What could cause this? Was it ever even in Iowa? This is an engagement ring and it’s not the end of the world if I don’t have it for the proposal (this weekend) but I really hope it gets here soon. I just wanted to share my experience with FedEx CS regarding the tracking information message they've added somewhat recently. First of all, I must have been lucky this - the rep I spoke with was extremely helpful, contrary to many past experiences within my family. My tracking page showed (and still does show) "(!) Delivery Updated" and that the package is at the hub facility one stop before the distribution center. However, the CS representative informed me that the package had departed the hub facility and was actively on its way to the distribution center, which still hasn't shown on my end. (Not scanned? How is everyone getting their Costco packages with the 9am-8pm delivery windows? Is everyone retired, work from home? Because they should allow you to pick your 4 hour window for people that work.

TL;DR Job ******* *****, don't do it if you're considering it. I'm not the type of person to do this. I've held every job I've ever worked for years.
