USPS Tracking

I recently sent out thank you notes from my wedding and a big bunch of them don’t seem to have made it to their intended recipients. I dropped them in the USPS post box in front of the Whole Foods at 15th and Fremont. Other batches of our thank you notes seem to have made it, so I don’t think I messed up the addresses or anything. Does anyone know of any mail delivery issues lately? These were letters so I don’t have a tracking number, but I could go to the post office and ask? Any ideas appreciated!

I received an email at 8 that my package would be arriving tomorrow, then 40 minutes later I get a notification that my package is arriving 4 days later. Is there any hope for me receiving it tomorrow? I paid for priority if that makes a difference?

Can confirm that the package was in fact scanned in with an actual postal worker. USPS can’t figure out where the package is because there haven’t been any scans…

i have had issues in the past with non UPS/USPS/Amazon delivery services so when i purchase something, i look for who the carrier is going to be. if it isn't one of the 3, i shop elsewhere. the website of the seller of the item i am waiting for stated usps delivery.. then after i purchase it, it is UniUni. so sent a complaint on the seller's website but not holding my breath. i am going to verify the shipper next time.

For the past three years, I’ve lived in two different apartment complexes and have consistently had issues with USPS. Whether I pay extra for overnight or rush shipping and the package still doesn’t arrive on time, or it gets stuck in the next state over for days! or even worse, sits at the distribution center in my own city for nearly a week there’s always a problem. I'm a new seller. The item will be larger than the 3/4" flat thickness limit when packaged securely, so it can't go First Class. I'm not sure why Etsy even allowed them to select that as an option. I messaged the buyer to explain this, asked if Ground Adv would work, but they haven't replied. I also asked if they are hoping for this item by Christmas, cause that can't be guaranteed at this point. Usually I would wait for a reply, but if I get none, should I just ship it Ground? I ordered a **** textbook on eBay like normal, and idk what's happening in usps post offices here in PR, but I'm tired of waiting for a **** textbook. The package was in hands of USPS at the 28/29 of November, today December 19 it hasn't arrived at my house. It was going to carolina and Gurabo for like 3 days in a row, I contacted USPS help via twitter(X) and still nothing, It has stop in Gurabo for almost 8 days (counting non-business days). I'm just so tired, idk if I should just calm down and wait till next week but I don't know what to do. I really don't what this article to get lost bc I was looking forward to use it for my studyings.

A package of mine seems to have gotten lost back in November so i initiated a lost mail search request. Seems like there isn’t much else to do besides just sit and wait. I’ve never experienced USPS losing a package of mine so i’m not sure what else to do, if there is anything else to do. I did reach out to the company that shipped my items that it seems my package has gotten lost and they basically said just wait and see if it shows up or let them know what the search results are, depending on what the outcome is they’ll possibly issue a refund. These are limited edition items i won’t be able to buy again so i’m pretty bummed.

When log into my FedEx account, under my Profile there is an option to set a Vacation Hold. On that page there's a box to add my delivery address. When I try to add my house street address it says it's not a valid address. I was able to reach a live person (a miracle in itself) to discuss this. She said that my address could not be verified through the USPS and therefore the address couldn't be entered. I don't know what USPS has to do with FedEx delivery. I live in a rural area with no USPS delivery to houses, so all residents in the area use PO Boxes for Postal Service mail. That may be why my actual street address couldn't be verified through USPS. I made this label a week ago (with shipping date for yesterday) but didn't drop it off until 3:30 PM yesterday at a local USPS that closes later at 7:00 PM. Since the line was long and I had a prepaid label, I was told I could just leave the package on the far end of the service counter and did so. I noticed it hadn't been scanned so called yesterday right before close and they told me it'd go out. Then I called promptly upon opening this AM and was assured "it went out" despite the fact I only described it as a medium sized flat rate priority box that I'd left on the counter. I’m an Etsy seller and I shipped an order on time during the holiday period with a valid tracking number. This was letter mail, not a parcel, and the tracking stayed at “pre-transit” for over a week — which is not unusual during peak holiday shipping, especially with USPS.
