Posting this so others don’t give up like these companies expect you to. I bought an item on eBay (\~$528). Seller provided USPS tracking that showed “Delivered,” but USPS confirmed **it was delivered to a completely different address** and the package weight was **1 lb 6.8 oz** for an item that weighs **\~71 lbs**. Classic scam. PayPal denied my case **twice**, even after I submitted **official USPS documentation** from the postmaster showing: * Wrong delivery address * Incorrect package weight * Item could not physically be what I purchased Each denial was basically “tracking shows delivered,” end of story. Any idea what could have even happened?

I’m making this post just to make sure this if this is normal or when to be concerned, my package has been updating every day since originally shipped out (5 days ago) but it was last updated in Kansas December 21st at 3pm and hasn’t updated since, it says the estimated delivery date is today December 23rd but I highly doubt that because there’s been no further updates. Not sure if this is just how long it takes for it to move state to state but it was updating daily now it’s not, it’s on its way to Wisconsin and I feel like it should’ve got here by now but idk. It’s not changing to “arriving late” but it’s already past 5pm

Package was expected to arrive yesterday but ofc it hasn’t… I get it that I live in Hawaii but still the seller lives in California and I hoped it’d get here faster… now it just says in transit arriving late 🤷‍♂️

I cleared my road test on 12/5. On 12/8 I got a USPS Informed Delivery email which included a picture of an envelope from ALEA, but it never showed up in the mail, and it’s been six days now. My paper license is valid till January 4. I wrote to USPS and I’m waiting to hear back from them. What do I do if it’s lost? Do I go to the office again after it expires? I believe you can print a renewal online; does that also hold true for a DL that you never received? Am I issued another temporary license after I go to ALEA or am I without a license for the time period between them sending it again and me receiving it? This is why I will never voluntarily use USPS. Third time this has happened to me this year on a package which I could not pick something explicitly not USPS. This particular package was 'flat rate' shipping at a higher cost than the free 'priority mail' the vendor offered. I had hoped paying more would mean no USPS... not the case, unfortunately. The other two times, after about 15 days and it bouncing between the same three unique USPS locations in the city they eventually put it in a 'package delivery locker' in a completely wrong / not destination zip code, and after a week returned it to sender. I wish they had done that this time. Just sharing ...

Ugh I feel/am so ******. Apparently USPS is delivering 2 days early which is shocking this time of year. I was expecting my Hers shipment on Monday and foolishly didn’t set up delivery alerts despite this being super important, expensive, and 20 degrees outside. I planned to make sure it went straight in the house when the Monday mail came. Well Sunday night I noticed some Amazon packages on the front porch and decided to check the mailbox too. Sat for 2 days at my local post office and rather than load it on the truck for delivery on either Monday or Tuesday, it was instead sent back to the distribution center. These “accidents” are so frequent and are so avoidable that it’s hard not to believe it was intentionally done to lower the number of packages they have to handle on a single day. Sending packages back to the DC will buy them another 2-3 days before they have to deal with it again. And if you send back a whole shipment of packages, well now you don’t have to work as hard and can be a lazy post office worker during the week of Christmas. I ******* **** USPS. Inept and incompetent.
