USPS Tracking

Hello, I am extremely frustrated with ongoing delivery issues This is not the first time the USPS carrier has marked packages as “no access to the mailbox.” In the most recent update, one tracking indicates that the mail was left in the mailbox, but the mailbox is completely empty. Can this situation really be considered “We could not access the delivery location to deliver your package? Additionally, it is not the first time the tracking has stated that a package would be redelivered the next delivery day, yet several days pass without any attempt, and I end up having to contact USPS customer service just to request another delivery attempt.

A PA specific data point for anyone who is still collecting documents. I was 90% of the way there last March when the decree came down, and was hesitant to spend more money on my efforts until things looked more certain. It occurred to me a week or so ago that maybe I'd never feel certain and just need to move forward anyway, so picked up where I left off. I had 13 PA records to apostille (my line goes back to my GGGGM!) and I mailed them off last Monday. I was shocked to see my USPS return label ping today that they were out for delivery - I thought for sure I made a mistake in the paperwork and it was being returned. My package said it was at NJ, (I live in NYC) But then my package somehow went all the way back to Texas? Is this a glitch in the system ? It makes me wonder if my package number got confused with another package and is giving updates for a package that isn’t mine.

A buyer is saying that they never received their order and that they see a message that says “we apologize for the inconvenience; our tracking records indicate this item may require additional investigation. Please submit a service request to begin the process”. On my end it says delivered. Does anyone know what I should do? The buyer is pretty upset which I understand but it’s not my fault that usps didn’t deliver or delayed delivery.

Ok, just so give some context… I’m an ***** and swore my passport didn’t expire till next year. Surprise! It’s already expired. I did my research and didn’t want to risk not expediting even though a lot of folks didn’t and have been receiving it rather quickly. I leave 3/23. I submitted it 2/27 but apparently there was some “chemical spill” or something with USPS and all Priority Mail Express halted until 3/6. I was surprised to see an in progress status on 3/5 though.
