USPS Tracking

Got an email from the company saying there was a delay as well as this message on the some of the tracking. I have ordered from this company 3 times in the past and never had an issue. Also the company sent an email saying the package cleared customs but there is a delay due to inclement weather? There is not inclement weather in ny at least. What do y’all think? Unfortunately this package is way more important than the other 3. And I am waiting on doing something until it gets here or updates at least.

I have what feels like an ongoing issue, but for how long I am not sure. Probably at least the last month, but may be longer. It's kind of like if your phone doesn't ring, how do you know the phone service isn't working; unless you are monitoring USPS Informed Delivery and making note of every piece of mail expected every day and/or are expecting something, how do you know you aren't getting all of the mail you should be? I ordered something off of eBay on Friday and haven't really received any updates since Saturday. I contacted the seller who said he dropped it off at the post office on Saturday. Seller went to the post office and they said that since it was dropped off after hours on Saturday that it didn't get put on the truck till Monday and that they more than likely didn't scan it. I shipped a Mercari order out last Monday (March 8th) and dropped it off at USPS. Although that was my mistake because it was a UPS shipping label. When I noticed it on Wednesday I went back to the post office and the lady told me misrouted packages got picked up by UPS already. Every year US Bank sends a check with the amount equal to my credit card balance. I honestly don’t really understand why but i’m not complaining! Anyway, I got an informed delivery notification that a letter that looks like the check should be delivered on friday. It was not. Since friday the rest of my mail has been delivered on time as per the informed delivery notifications. I asked my property manager to check if other tenants received it and they did not. I’ve noticed this has become the go-to status when the weather is particularly bad — re: extreme cold or a few inches of snow. I don’t recall this status being used before this past winter but it’s happened to me at least a handful of times and now I’m having to wait days for mail that should’ve been delivered on Monday. We moved out of an apartment early February. I know landlords are required to send the deposit within 30 days- in this case, it ***was*** mailed out within 30 days. We can see where it was *intended* to be delivered per USPS informed delivery. However, we have never received it and USPS says they do not have it. The property management company refuses to even tell us if the check was cashed OR returned to them.
