USPS Tracking

The numbers for my address are 2805. The next door neighbor whose yard touches mine is 2801. Why is there the 4 number difference? I know one side of the road is even numbers and the other side is odd numbers from being a delivery driver in my teens but I never figured out why there's always a numerical gap in between addresses that literally have adjoining yards. Anyone knows what this mean? I had a package shipped from family in Ukraine without any issue and made it through British customs without any hassle before landing in the US. It reached ISC NEW YORK NY on the 11th, and the status has remained the same since then. I'm assuming it's in customs and has like 45 days to be released. It's likely just waiting to be processed and released. I'm not in any rush but just wanted to know if I should be a concerned since reading some other's experiences with ISC NEW YORK specifically. Just wanted to know how long it might be seeing as its expected delivery date is unlikely.

Hi, I sold an item recently and it was out for delivery then I get a notification saying the sale couldn’t be delivered… I contacted the buyer and she said it was odd being that she’s used the address before. This is my 2nd item sold thus far.

Ok so I already have a job (technically 2) but it’s slow season and hours are basically non existent. The only problem is if my job calls me on my day off I’m expected to come in no matter what! ANYWAY I was wondering if anybody knows of a job I basically can show up and do and get paid when I can, that is not uber or delivery (my car can’t take it.) I’ve done warehouse work, office work, and I currently work for usps. (I can do physical work, and office work!) I know this might seem like an impossible task but if anyone has any leads I’d be super appreciative!

I have a package coming from the UK to here in the states (shipped Thursday 5/7/2026). Paid my tariffs on Friday 5/8/2026 and it cleared customs the same day. I figured I would have had my package by now. Monday 5/11/2026 it shows it made it to Bloomington Illinois (literally only 1 hour 45 minutes from where I live). Monday afternoon it states on DHL tracking that they “forwarded to a third party carrier”. Checked my usps informed delivery and it shows that a label was created but they do not have possession of the package. I wasn't home for a delivery that required a signature on Friday the 8th , so Saturday, I re--scheduled a redelivery for the following Tuesday, the 12th. I was home all day the 12th and my package wasn't delivered. Today I checked the status and says Processing at Destination Redelivery Scheduled Is my package going to be stuck at the post office now that the redeliver date has passed? Sender paid for PM Express at 4:15pm on 5/11 - Guaranteed to arrive by 6pm today, 5/13. The receiving address is in Wilmington, DE 19809, but tracking says it’s still at the Wilmington Distribution Center since 2:34pm on 5/12, which is only MINUTES away from the local Wilmington post office that delivers to 19809. It is now 8:18pm on 5/13 & still nothing. Can’t even submit an inquiry on this - it’s next to impossible to even reach a live person to speak to 🙄 Is this common? Is it just hopeless at this point?

Has anyone had any experiences with the Etsy Seller app charging more for shipping than the actual website? I have been having this issue for the past few months. I will add screenshots in the comments of the last package that I just did. Shipping weight is the same, dimensions are the same, and address is the same. The only thing different was buying on the phone app vs on the website. I know the official answer is that Etsy gives the the same price that USPS charges, but that isn't what's happening here.

I sold an item to a buyer in Puerto Rico, and shipped it using **USPS Ground Advantage** with postage purchased through eBay. Today the buyer submits an **'item not received**' action and notes that it was delivered to the wrong city. Uh oh. So I check USPS tracking and it shows "**Delivered, Individual Picked Up at Postal Facility**" with a different city and postal code than what the buyer provided. The cities are near each other, but both have their own post offices. I believe the shipping address "HC # Box #####" is a PO Box system for Puerto Rico. My parcel is currently at their Illinois hub awaiting to be shipped over. Seller shipped it to the hub via USPS and now it’s awaiting shipment via DHL. I’ve read that they can charge hefty brokerage fees over here or by surprise. However, prior to checking out; I checked the shipping details and read, “no additional import fees on delivery”. Is that actually true? It’s my first time buying from the US. Has anyone been charged by DHL or similar couriers upon delivery? Thank you in advance!
