USPS Tracking

Put my package in the pre paid mail bin at my local post office and hasn't updated in a week

So my status is showing "Card Was Produced" for 20 days now and counting. The tracking number assigned is unavailable, so I tried creating a USPS account and sign up for informed delivery, but my address turn out to not be eligible for informed delivery. I think this may have something to do with me living in a student residence, and we have a centralized mail room so USPS cannot associate mail pieces with individual recipients. What should I do from here? Should I check with my mail room first or create a USCIS e-request?

Prior to listing I took my double boxed completely ready to ship (but not sealed) item to the PO for weighing (couldn't find my scale after moving). Carefully wrote down the info given. 4# 14.7 oz which I rounded up to 5#. Listed, item sold, paid for (buyer paid for shipping), I purchased/printed label through Ebay. I have not yet shipped. Found my scale. I leave my Ebay items prepaid at a shipping center where I have a box. Both my scale and the one at the shipping center read 5# 11oz (not 4# 14oz). Ok, I did a little searching in this sub but haven’t seen this one. I ordered something the beginning of December, then it was “delivered” on the 13th, but I didn’t see anything. Then a return to sender was apparently processed, which I read that meant all tracking would stop but it’s still showing up as being delivered…at some point. I know I should contact my local USPS but I’m just dreading it. Any guesses?

Background: I renewed my car registration in August, and didn’t get my permanent sticker before the expiration, so put the temporary printout in my windshield. I still got a ticket the next day for failing to display current tags (P170). I immediately appealed online, with a photo of my temporary registration in my car, thinking that was that. Order was shipped out on November 19th to be handed off at USPS to finish the delivery on December 1 but the delivery date kept getting pushed back. I live in San Jose and the package was even even scanned by FedEx to be handed off to USPS on 12/3 but it bounced back to another FedEx facility. Now it’s stuck for 2 weeks with no delivery date in sight. Useless carrier full of unqualified people.

Last year in December, USPS lost my EAD. Now my green card has been approved and the exact same situation as last year is happening… I can’t do this anymore.

For anyone that has redeemed Rapid Rewards points for gift cards (I know everyone says to use it for flights but Southwest burned me very hard a couple Christmases ago so we decided to use up our existing points on the cards and switch airlines), do you know what city they ship from? I know they are coming via USPS but I have a few packages on the way and Informed Delivery for USPS only says where a package ships from and not necessarily who shipped it. I assume it would come from the Dallas area since headquarters are there but if anyone knows from experience, I would love to know. We received an email saying it shipped but no tracking number.

For the past 16 months, I've been receiving informed delivery for 2 different addresses. Only one of these addresses is mine. I tried logging in to turn off notifications for the address that isn't mine, and not only did I forget my password, apparently I also forgot what city I was born in?(I did not, but the answer is flagged wrong when trying to reset my password) Email support has been less than helpful. I would have thought that letting me know what/when someone else had mail delivered would be some sort of invasion of privacy. Not anything that usps workers are worried about though.
