I run a store that ships packages every day. We recently shipped a handful of packages with the new UPS Ground Saver option that popped up on Shopify and probably half of them have had inaccurate tracking info or are simply just lost. Most of them say the package has been handed to USPS to finish delivery, but still hasn’t been delivered after over a week. Another was scanned delivered but actually wasn’t. Customer service offered me no help but to “not use Ground Saver in the future” and that even though the tracking doesn’t show clear info, that it will be delivered soon. But they haven’t. Okay so first of all sorry if this comes off as scatterbrained or incoherent. Basically the gist of my reasoning to seek out advice here is that I do not know with certainty where to go from where I am currently at. I’m 24 years a driver for an Amazon DSP and I actually really enjoy the work. However obviously the pay is not the best and it’s not a job with upward mobility at all. Can anyone help me understand this? I live in a small town outside of CLT. My packages typically land at my local town post office after leaving the CLT distribution center. This time I have multiple scans within CLT distribution center. I’m really confused as the why my package went to the Gastonia post office and not my local PO. Is this normal? When I first heard about this, I figured that would represent 40-50 cents more for most interlibrary mail packages since that's my job. Ordered a 2026 (W) American Silver Eagle PCGS MS70 FS Flag Label for the birth year of our second child. I did the same for our first back in 2022. Originally USPS kept its status as pending acceptance for over a week. Then requested an inquiry only for it to change to pending delivery. Upon delivery lets just say this explains why it was lost for a week. Best guess it slipped into the conveyor belt system somewhere. I contacted original seller and they promised to replace it. Pending new shipment at the moment. Hope things go better this time. I laughed out loud at their WE CARE bag they included with original delivery.

I sold an item earlier this month and it had a bunch of shipping issues which I think is common now from USPS. after a few days taking a road trip across the country it FINALLY was out for delivery…. only for this. At first I was like that’s fine maybe they are on vacation and will pick it up later. but now it’s been a week and it’s still stuck in limbo. i sent Mercari a message and they sent me a response that clearly wasn’t true because i was never auto rates after three days. What do i doooooo. It’s only a $10 item but im strapped for money and every dollar counts :(

The worst part is that it was a Priority Mail package I dropped off at the Post Office on 3/21. I really hope it isn’t lost as it’s almost $500 worth of cards I sent to a store.

Remember that former postmaster general DeJoy (Trump first term) started a make over of the USPS by removing (and destroying) local post office sorting machines in favor of having centralized sorting centers. These machines applied the postmark stamp. So now your local post office is not postmarking your mail. Add to this the recent Supreme Court decision that you can’t sue USPS for non-delivery - INCLUDING **intentional** non-delivery- the bricks are already in place to mess up mail in ballots across the nation. We are already screwed.

i’m pretty sure i didn’t get scammed since the seller has 160+ 5 star reviews and has over 300 items sold, but it’s still really weird that it says it got delivered last year across the country from me.
