Hi everyone, can you let me know if you think I'm SOL? I bought a purse online through a website I was unfamiliar with. The site said it was for a brick and mortar store based in Seattle, WA that also ships. I bought it through PayPal, got my confirmation email, all good. A day or two later I get the shipping info and it's shipping through China Post. Awesome, I got scammed. I followed the shipping through 17Track until it said delivered to my zip code. Of course the item never arrived. I live in the US and China Post doesn't deliver here. Once a package goes through customs, it is handed off to a last mile carrier. I’m a noob not looking to collect, but wanting a variety of cool stamps with different themes for Postcrossing. To be clear I’m not trying to get deals, I just want to buy at face value or slightly more. But some websites are just insanely high (mystic). With that being said, I know Forever stamps being sold under face value is an immediate red flag, but my question is, it really as prevalent as I am seeing? And if so, how is this allowed? So I bought something off of TikTok shop. I got the tracking number and look at it every day. I'm in central Illinois for context. The order started in Chicago, went to my town, then instead of stopping in my town... it went in the opposite direction. Three days or so has passed since it was in my town. I ordered the XL hangtag from Dillards on 5/13. Like a few of you out there the tracking provided was not available on the USPS tracking website. Today 5/25, I still have not received my package and the tracking started to work but all it states is delivery delayed. I have no idea where the package is. I have a steep gravel driveway that is fine for us (AWD cars) but the last 5 deliveries (all from flex drivers) drive right past this box and down the driveway only to skid and spin their tires on the way up spitting gravel everywhere and rutting out the driveway. I have delivery instruction in all caps:”DONT DRIVE DOWN DRIVEWAY” but they do every time! I even stopped a driver once and asked him if there’s a better way to get that noticed as a driver and he just shrugged. The normal Amazon driver with the tuck, UPS, and USPS all have no issues.
