Found a set of keys on our porch in Piedmont neighborhood. Looks like they're probably from a delivery driver. We tried calling USPS and FedEx to let them know and neither are open. My Amazon driver just placed a package in my mailbox (on video) and marked it as handed to resident, which avoids them having to take a picture of delivery. Amazon chat with the two agents were useless and just kept saying “sorry you didn’t receive the package.” Is there anything that can actually be done about this? It’s federally illegal to place items in a mailbox if you’re not USPS.

So for some context, every time I get an order I usually buy the shipping label early in order to be ready for when I deliver the product at my local USPS or so that my grandmother can deliver it for me in case I am not able to. Nepal neither has a mailbox system in homes nor a postal service like USPS. So how is this home delivery going to work? Nepali homes do not have postal address like people in US or other countries do. Is the receiver gonna give their Google map location? Will the person receiving parcel will have to be at home during delivery hours? This initiative looks good if they can implement it.

I have cameras all around my house, and it’s not because I live in a crime ridden neighborhood. It’s because I have neighbors that don’t respect boundaries, and delivery personnel (USPS/UPS/Amazon/FedEx) that don’t respect my property. If you don’t pay bills, you don’t get to walk in my grass or in my mulch - it’s that simple. Most FedEx drivers don’t give a ****, no matter how much you ask them to stay on the sidewalk.
