There's a lot of media about Buncombe County mailing batches of property value notices two weeks ago. As of this date...I have not received one. There's been no image showing one in my informed delivery for USPS. The news articles are saying they are bracing for a lot of appeals. I can tell you, they should get them. Values are increasing by at least 50%. The tax offices "says" they cannot tell you if your bill will increase because the commissioners vote on the tax rate in June/July. That is passing the buck. We already had one valuable stolen a few years ago which was a silver ring from a usps worker. For the past few weeks my household has noticed the top right corner of our mail is always torn open but conveniently it is only on our mail pieces containing credit cards/debit cards and birthday cards. None of our bills or junk mail has ever arrived damaged. I have informed delivery and the damage is never shown on the images because the tear is about 1-1.5 inches on the back side. Today my mom’s credit card company sent her a new card and their brilliant statement contains her entire credit card number on the front page. I had a package arrive on February 27th, unfortunately I didn’t have the mailbox key to check the day it arrived (and still don’t at the moment) The tracking status of the package said it was delivered to a parcel locker and has sat there this entire time. 2 days ago, I asked a delivery person who was helpful enough to let me check my mail as they had already opened the cluster boxes to deliver but no parcel locker key was inside. Is it possible that it could’ve been sent back to the nearest USPS branch or sender? The status of the package was marked Delivered and hasn’t changed at all, I haven’t gotten any notices nor been contacted in any way. Where should I go from here?

Jacksonville distribution center has always had a horrible reputation but this is the first time I’ve had a problem. The first package was shipped out on Feb 23rd and was supposed to arrive Monday the 2nd. It hit Jax distribution center and bam - it’s gone. Left on the 28th and has disappeared. Then my second package hit the Jax distribution center and never showed up today.
