I just wanted to throw this situation out here and see if someone can explain what I'm not understanding. I ship roughly 450 packages per year, and this is the first time this happened, but I had to pay return postage for a package that was not deliverable due to the address. Based on previous conversations, it sounded like I could get a refund, but now it's becoming extremely difficult and tiring. Should I just accept it as is? Hi everyone — I need advice/experiences with a STEM OPT EAD delivery problem and what to do next. USCIS produced and mailed my EAD, but USPS attempted delivery and the tracking showed “Delivered, In/At Mailbox” and then shortly after “Addressee Unknown” (my name wasn’t on the mailbox / mailbox delivery issue), so USPS sent it into return-to-sender flow. Mail delivered by trucks upon arrival at distribution centers are told to park at far-end of parking lot. lock it up and bring in the keys to be secured. Truck might be there sometimes up to 2 weeks. Imagine mail that is time restricted, perishable, urgent, valuables, medical, etc. The plan is to reimburse for mailed items if damage reports are filed. Often damage filings or insurance reimbursements claims are simply denied. This is verified through employed Postal Workers who fear opening a truck parked in the sun for a week. Food, small pets, livestock, etc. which have rotten and decayed in that truck.
