The delivery date says it’s gonna be delivered today but hasn’t reached my local post office yet

Is this common? Both of them are ground advantage. One arrived at the regional facility LAST NIGHT and hasn't done anything else, and one arrived there at 4 am and is now out for delivery. Any chance the first one just hasn't been update yet and will be out for delivery today? :( USPS has been giving me **** with my packages the last few weeks.

I live just outside the Boston area. I ordered a Christmas gift for my mom during Black Friday and last night on the tracking number said it was in Boston MA USPS Regional Facility. The estimated delivery date is December 13 so I thought it might come soon. Well this morning it ended up in the Nashua NH regional facility. How did it go from Boston to New Hampshire when I live just outside Boston when it should have gone to Middlesex? I did confirm my address with the seller of the gift before it shipped. Should I send an email/call to USPS to confirm they have my address right? Or should I just assume the package may have went to the wrong shipping truck?

It’ll show you any and all packages that are coming to your home or place of business when they ship from the sender. Several Google results say no, but USPS website lists a price for signature confirmation for media mail: "Package Services (Library Mail, Media Mail, Bound Printed Matter) - Retail $4.95, Electronic $3.95" so I assume this means it's possible. *But is it possible on eBay.* Selling some pretty expensive antique books, going to add insurance coverage for the full sale amount and want to add signature at delivery.
