Took an interest in tube circuits after building a Valvecaster-style pedal a few weeks ago, and decided to see what I could build for under $100. Ended up with what you see here. It's a single-ended class A cathode-biased amplifier, based roughly on a Fender 5F1 Champ, but with a slightly hotter power transformer, added tone and master volume pots, and a 6L6GC power tube. PT is a 385-0-385 (ebay, $26.50), quite a bit hotter than the typical Champ PT.
